The Meyiwa family has urged members of the public to stop making #NotSensozDad jokes about a picture of slain Bafana Bafana captain Senzo Meyiwa’s father waving at mourners who attended the footballer’s funeral service at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban last Saturday.

In the picture, Sam Meyiwa is seen waving at the crowd from inside the hearse carrying the body.

On Facebook and other social media networks, people have gone as far as posting pictures of themselves waving through the windows of their homes, while others are seen waving from their cars.
