The family of slain Bafana Bafana captain Senzo Meyiwa is still looking for some of his belongings.

Jabulile Buthelezi, who has been the family’s spokesperson since his death, said they have collected most of the Meyiwa’s belongings at his singer girlfriend Kelly Khumalo’s townhouse in Mulbarton but there is a new Adidas kit missing.

Buthelezi said apart from the kit, Senzo’s cellphone is still with Khumalo.

“We are still shocked to learn that Kelly is using Senzo’s phone,” said Buthelezi, pointing an accusing finger in the singer’s direction.

“Senzo’s Whatsapp was online on Tuesday and even his status had been changed after his death.

“We want the phone back. In our culture, no one is allowed to use the deceased’s things – using his phone is just extreme. Kelly is disrespectful.”

Buthelezi said Khumalo’s disrespect towards them was aggravating their anger over the loss of their son.

“What does this girl want?” said the enraged Buthelezi.

“First she drove around with Senzo’s car, with his blood in the car, and then she took us from pillar to post to get our child’s possessions, now she goes on and uses his phone? Where is her mother and is why she is not teaching her manners?”

According to Buthelezi, Khumalo allegedly only gave them a quarter of the things Meyiwa owned.

“We are really tired of this girl. Senzo owned a lot of clothes. She gave us only a few things. We are still mourning Senzo, we are not supposed to be fighting but she is provoking the family with her never-ending drama,” said Buthelezi.
