Three Post Office workers were injured in Krugersdorp when they were attacked on Tuesday, Gauteng police said.

Captain Appel Ernst said the three were working at the mail centre when they were pelted with stones.

“They were slightly injured. Three post office trucks and other private cars were damaged.”

No arrests had been made.

SA Post Office workers are on strike demanding that casual workers be employed on a permanent basis.
