DA parliamentary leader Mmusi Maimane’s spokesperson, Mabine Seabe, said the announcement would be made during a media briefing in Parliament on Wednesday afternoon.
“The members to be announced will set out the DA’s expectations for the work and prospective outcomes of the committee,” Seabe added.
On Tuesday, the National Assembly voted to re-establish the committee following a proposal by the ANC. The committee is expected to consider President Jacob Zuma’s response to a report of Public Protector Thuli Madonsela and other investigations into the Nkandla security upgrades.
Madonsela’s report, which was released in March, indicated that Zuma and his family unduly benefited from the upgrades to his private home in Nkandla, KwaZulu-Natal.
