Donald Sebolai, the Jozi FM DJ wanted in connection with the murder of his girlfriend, is still at large as police continue their manhunt on Friday.

Rachel “Dolly” Tshabalala, 32, was found stabbed to death on Sunday in a flat she shared with Sebolai in Jabulani.

Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Kay Makhubela said there has been no new sighting of Sebolai and that he was still at large.

The  Jozi FM DJ was allegedly seen fleeing in his girlfriend’s vehicle which was later found abandoned in Central Western Jabavu on Sunday. Since then it has been alleged that he was spotted at a petrol station in Rustenburg.

Wanted Jozi FM DJ’s colleagues want the truth

Sebolai’s former colleague at North West FM, Patrick Maloyi, also known as “Pat Cash”, told The Citizen that the DJ has been spotted in Rustenburg, North West.

“He apparently spent a night on a bench at a petrol station, but the people there did not know what he had done until the newspapers were delivered – and he was gone.

“He has also been seen near our building (North West FM offices) and all this information has been shared with the police,” he said.

A R50 000 reward has also been offered to anyone with information that may lead to Sebolai’s arrest.
