Police probe Midrand building collapse

Police are investigating the collapse of the Ipitombi building in Midrand on Monday.

“SA Police Service crime scene managers and investigators are still at the scene,” said Captain Augustinah Selepe after 5pm.

Two men were injured when the one-storey building on the Old Pretoria Road, Halfway House, collapsed around 2am.

Paramedics said one of the men was seriously injured while the other sustained moderate injuries.
