On Sunday evening paramedics arrived to find the man was dismembered due to the impact, as the driver had apparently been travelling at high speed, ER24 spokesman Russel Meiring said.
“The road had to be closed for some time to allow emergency workers to clear the scene.”
The driver was not physically harmed.
The accident was being investigated, Meiring said.
