The four vehicles collided on the N5 around 5pm, said Netcare 911 spokesman Chris Botha.
“One vehicle had burst into flames after impact. The road was obstructed with accident debris and the twisted remains of the vehicles,” Botha said.
The three injured were transported to hospital.
