Durban men who killed mom in front of daughter to apply for bail next week

Darryl Murrisson and Christopher Houston appeared in court on charges of murder on Wednesday and were remanded until their bail application.

Two men arrested for allegedly killing a mother in front of her three-year-old daughter at a Wentworth petrol station last month will apply for bail in the Durban Magistrate’s Court next week.

Darryl Murrisson, 33, and Christopher Houston, 26, appeared in court on charges of murder on Wednesday and were remanded until their bail application.

Police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Thulani Zwane said police recovered a pistol and two magazines with eight rounds of ammunition at the home of one of the accused.

Both men were arrested on February 26, two days after the murder.

Bianca Parsons, 33, had been sitting in her car with her three-year-old child waiting for her husband who was inside the service station shop.

She was allegedly pulled out of the car, shot twice in the upper body, and died on the scene.
