Paramedics arrived on the scene and found one male in his 20s lying outside the vehicle.

At least one person has been killed after a vehicle left the N3 in Peacevale, near Durban, and rolled down an embankment, private emergency services provider Rescue Care said on Monday.

Operations director Garrith Jamieson said paramedics arrived on the scene and found one male in his twenties lying outside the vehicle. He was assessed and found to have sustained major injuries. He was declared dead on the scene.

“It is believed it possibly occurred last night and only discovered this morning, however SAPS will investigate further,” Jamieson said.
