NW police arrest two suspects inside liquor store after break-in

The two arrested suspects are to be charged with attempted business burglary.

Two men were arrested inside a bottle store in Morokweng, near Taung, after an alleged break-in, North West police said on Wednesday.

Policve spokesperson Sergeant Kelebogile Moleko said the owner of a bottle store alerted the police about an activated alarm on Tuesday at 2am.

“According to information, the police swiftly responded and went to the scene where they found and arrested two suspects inside the bottle store while the third one managed to flee and evaded arrest,” she said.

The two arrested suspects are to be charged with attempted business burglary.
