Marikana murder case postponed to December

The State alleges that 13 men including activist Napoleon Webster, hacked Sabata Chale to death in Marikana West on December 8, 2016.

The case against Forum 4 Service Delivery (F4SD) councillor Napoleon Webster and 13 others was postponed to December at the North West High Court in Mmabatho on Wednesday.

The case was postponed to December 8.

The State alleges that Aubrey Seitsang, Sibonile Sobopha, Mdlondozi Fundiwo, Herbert Baqhesi, Webster, William Nyanyane, Aphindile Pungone, Samson Gqwetani, Gift Luveli, Nkululeko Msithwa, Nkosindiphile Nziyose, Luvo Soyizwaphi, Sivuyile Qasha and Mzolisi Mbulana hacked Sabata Petros Chale to death in Marikana West on December 8, 2016.

They allegedly drank his blood after hacking him.

Aubrey Seitsang, Sibonile Sobopha, Mdlondozi Fundiwo, Herbert Baqhesi and William Nyanyane were remanded in custody.

Webster was released on R3000 bail and Aphindile Pungone was granted R2000 bail the others were released on a R5000 bail.
