A woman claimed she was sexually assaulted at a Rietfontein Road shop when she went to buy chips at the shop, reports the Germiston City News.
“The woman told officers while opening a case at the Primrose Police Station that when she entered the shop, she was accosted by a 23-year-old man who worked at the shop.
“She alleged that he started touching her on her waist and running his hands down her sides to her bottom,” said Primrose police spokesperson Sergeant Styles Maome.
Police went to the store and arrested the man on a charge of sexual assault.
He will appear in the Germiston Magistrates’ Court soon.
