Man stabbed in KZN

The man was stabilised at the scene by Rescue Care paramedics.

A man in his thirties was stabbed in what is believed to be an attempted hijacking in Pinetown on Wednesday night, Highway Mail reports.

According to Garrith Jamieson, the operations director for Rescue Care, paramedics arrived just after 5pm and found the man had been stabbed in the arm and was moderately injured.

The stabbing occurred near the intersection of Josiah Gumede Road (Old Main) and Anderson Road.

Paramedics stabilised him at the scene and was taken to hospital for further assistance.
