A tip-off led police to a large cache of dagga stored near the Mozambique and Swaziland borders.

Police have seized bags full of dagga weighing about 30kg at a house in Magudu Trust near the Mozambique and Swaziland borders yesterday morning in Mpumalanga, Corridor Gazette reports.

Constable Sipho Ntandane of the K9 Unit in Magudu Trust received a tip-off that a lot of dagga was being stored in a house in Magudu Trust and rushed to follow it up.

He found the dagga valued at R150 000 and arrested a 38-year-old man for dealing in dagga.

The suspect is to appear in the Nkomazi Magistrates’ Court in Tonga.
