The two suspects are accused of raping and killing the 19-year-old and then leaving her body in a communal toilet.

Two cousins accused of raping and killing Khayelitsha teen Sinoxolo Mafevuka are expected to appear in the Western Cape High Court on Friday, for a pre-trial conference.

Mafevuka’s half-naked body was found dumped in a communal toilet a few minutes’ walk from the shack where she lived.

The two suspects, who cannot be named for their own safety, are accused of raping and killing the 19-year-old and then leaving her body in a communal toilet.

The cousins, aged 21 and 26, were arrested in March, after the half-naked body of Mafevuka was found in a communal toilet. Her clothes were stuffed in a cistern.
