A taxi crashed into a fire hydrant and a fence after a driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle on 3rd Road in Midrand yesterday afternoon.
Emer-G-Med paramedics responded to the serious collision and found eight passengers were injured, with one passenger sustaining injuries that required Advanced Life Support care.
“Emer-G-Med paramedics, alongside provincial services, trained and treated the patients on scene before they were transported to various hospitals in the area,” said Emer-G-Med spokesperson Max Cohen.
