Hijackings remain prevalent in the Greenwood Park policing district of KwaZulu-Natal (KZN), with the tenth hijacking being reported in nearly two months, Northglen News reports.

According to Greenwood Park police spokesperson Warrant Officer Leon Audh, a woman was accosted by three men as she sat in her car on Manjee Place in Effingham Heights on Friday.

The suspects jumped out of a white vehicle that pulled up next to the victim’s red Hyundai I20. One of the men is said to have pointed a gun at the woman, forcing her out of her vehicle.

While the suspects jumped into her car, they also forced her into the backseat and fled the scene.

The gang robbed the woman of her valuables and later dumped her in an unknown location.
