Leader of the Black First Land First party, Andile Mngxitama, says the BLF will be launched in Soweto, South of Johannesburg, on May 14, 2016.
The party will discuss “five important policy issues”, which among others include BLF’s strategy on how “to take back the land”, “position on ganja and zama-zama miners”, and the party’s “position on MMM”.
Mngxitama set social media on fire on Monday when he announced that he’ll be joining MMM, a pyramid-style financial investment service that many bare testimony to its alleged monthly 30% returns.
On Facebook, Mngxitama wrote: “After long pondering today I have decided to donate a small amount to help others who will help me when I need help. In a few hours I shall be a member of the family of self help called MMM. And banks must not f**k with Us! I will report after a month what is my experience, I’m still learning and studying this mutual help scheme. I’m fairly impressed thus far,” Mngxitama said on Facebook.
