Real issues should be addressed by JZ

Many are hoping President Jacob Zuma will use next week’s State of the Nation address to clearly spell out what his government’s plan of action is to deal with challenges.

However, there are fears Zuma might not grab this opportunity to take the nation into his confidence and could return to his old mind-numbing rhetoric that has characterised all his previous speeches.

What may help keep many glued to their television sets on February 12 will probably be to witness if EFF leader Julius Malema does indeed honour his promise to disrupt Zuma’s speech by asking him tough questions.
