The police are not party babysitters

Despite police statistics claiming otherwise, the picture on the ground is that crime levels have reached alarming proportions.

The high incidence of child killings is just one example of the nightmare unleashed by violent thugs on communities.

It is clear from the spike in violent crime that our police are not coping and that some extraordinary measures are needed to bring to an end this reign of terror. We find it totally unacceptable that our overburdened and underresourced police officers should be deployed to maintain law and order at meetings
