Animals under threat

To save the threatened wild animals of Africa, it is necessary to move the humans from the countryside to the cities – where they want to be anyway.

The London Zoological Society has just released a study showing the world’s population of wildlife has halved in the last 40 years. There are some doubts about the scientific integrity of the numbers, but there is no doubt there has been a calamitous decline in many species.

If it continues, many magnificent animals will become extinct. Africa, whose wild animals are a glory of the planet, is particularly menaced.
