There are so many scandals hanging over President Jacob Zuma’s head it is no hyperbole to suggest the man has lost all the credibility required from someone occupying the highest office in the land.

In any normal country calling itself a democracy in which the rule of law reigns supreme, a man with a track record like Zuma’s would be languishing in jail and not be living the high life at taxpayers’ expense.

The Sunday Times published new explosive details that revealed how Zuma used the code phrase “Eiffel Tower” to accept a bribe of R500 000 a year from Thales in return for political protection and securing future business.
