Women are worse off today

It could have been 1994. Same organisations, same people (albeit younger, but same types), same issues, worse statistics.

In fact, 1995 was better for women, believe it or not.

We did not have all the progressive legislation we have today, yet statistics on gender-based violence were not as horrendous as they are now.
