Attacks on judge pure ignorance


When the Oscar Pistorius murder trial started, we stated that not only was the Paralympian on trial, but the South African justice system too.

Because this was a case involving a global sporting figure, it was inescapable that the country would attract the world’s attention.

Despite numerous challenges, the manner in which the trial was run sent out a message that ours is a well-functioning justice system in which a free and fair trial is guaranteed.
