Neighbour allegedly throws acid on toddler

According to Actonville police spokesperson Pheello Mothapo, a toddler was playing at the house of the accused, who is the neighbour of the youngster’s grandparents, when she got burnt, Benoni City Times reports.

“The case has been handed over to the police’s Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Investigations (FCS) unit.

“Police are investigating the matter.”
