Fallen Paralympian and culpable homicide convicted Oscar Pistorius has been released under correctional supervision from prison.

His lawyer Brian Webber told The Citizen that Pistorius was already at home just after 10pm this evening.
“Yes it is true… he is at home already,” Webber said when asked if the information received was indeed correct.
The blade runner was granted parole under correctional supervision last week after attempts to get a taste of freedom.
He was expected to leave the Kgosi Mampuru Prison tomorrow in Pretoria, where he would have served just one day short of a year in prison.
Pistorius was sentenced to five years imprisonment for shooting dead his then girlfriend, model Reeva Steenkamp on Valentine’s Day 2013.
Judge Thokozile Masipa found him guilty of culpable homicide late last year.
Pistorius will now serve the reminder of his sentence under house arrest but will also have to adhere to at strict parole conditions such as undergoing psychotherapy and undertaking community service.
Correctional Services were not immediately available for comment but in a statement released last week, stated he will be placed under correctional supervision “as from 20 October 2015”.
