King-sized comedy returns to Nu Metro’s big screens in the sequel to Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Hall’s all-time crowd-pleaser, Coming 2 America (PG 13). Bookings are now open to experience this all-new adventure of majestic proportions in Nu Metro cinemas from next Friday, 5 March 2021.

Here are this weekend’s new movie releases at Nu Metro (including their luxurious in-cinema dining VIP cinemas):

The Little Things (16 LN)

[Showing at Nu Metro Menlyn Park only]

Kern County Deputy Sheriff Joe “Deke” Deacon is sent to Los Angeles for what should have been a quick, evidence-gathering assignment in the search for a killer who is terrorising the city. Leading the hunt, L.A. Sheriff Department Sergeant Jim Baxter, impressed with Deke’s cop instincts, unofficially engages his help. But, as they track the killer, Baxter is unaware that the investigation is dredging up echoes of Deke’s past – uncovering disturbing secrets that could threaten more than his case. Be thrilled by The Little Thing at Nu Metro!

Critical Thinking (13 DLPV)

[Showing at Nu Metro Woodlands Boulevard and Menlyn Park]

Chess is the great equaliser in Critical Thinking – a true story out of Miami, 1988. Poverty, broken families and a prejudiced system push underprivileged youth to the fringes of society. But, for a magnetic group of teens, there’s a reprieve: a game where it’s not about where you come from, but how you play. That equaliser is chess. “Mr. T” Martinez, a chess militant and passionate coach, leads them to a completely foreign field of battle.

Nu Metro’s cinemas are open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and on public holidays – with all the required Covid-19 protocols in place, to keep you safe.
