COMPETITION: Win tickets to the exciting outdoor Proe’toria festival

Celebrate the end of winter by attending the exciting Proe'toria festival.

There is no better way to welcome spring than with a family outing with something for everyone to enjoy.

South-Africa’s biggest food and entertainment festival, Proe’toria, is back – and this year promises to be even better than before. Not only can festival-goers look forward to enjoying the best food, nibbles, crafts, gin, craft beer and wine in one place, but they can also expect to be entertained by some of the best artists and food experts on stage.

Pretoria National Botanical Gardens will be transformed into one of the most enjoyable outdoor festivals that Gauteng has ever experienced on 31 August 2019.

“This year promises to be the best Proe’toria ever,” said EPH Group’s Leon Pheiffer.

“As always, the festival will boast more than a hundred food and drink exhibitors, great music as well as loads of entertainment for the kids.

“2019’s focus will be on the ‘tasting’ aspect of Proe’toria as exhibitors invite the public to come and try their products for themselves. A few respected foodies will also be sharing their cooking tips on stage and a big wine tent will ensure wine enthusiasts have more than enough options to keep them busy.”

Wineries and exhibitors from all over the country will be part of this event, including Dors Water, The Java House, The Pizza Wagon, Foodboyz, Mainstream Brewing Company, Lekker Spookasem and more.

In addition to delectable food and drinks, the public can also look forward to performances by artists like Dewald Wasserfall, Roan Ash, Demi Lee Moore, Corlea, Touch of Class, Joe Foster, Georgetown, Jemma, Deevah and Karlien van Jaarsveld.

“To me this festival combines everything that we as South Africans enjoy – delicious food, a selection of drinks and great entertainment,” says Touch of Class’s Ruhan du Toit.

By being part of this special event, you will be doing your bit for charity because some of the funds raised will be donated to an animal shelter to help them with the work they are doing.

Gates will open at 09:00 and the program for the day will end at 20:00. Early Bird tickets are now available (valid until 30 June 2019) at https://tickets.tixsa.co.za/event/proe-toria-taste-toria.

Admission for children under-18 is R80.

Adults who book early will only pay R120 per person.

The regular price for online bookings will be R150 per adult and R100 per child.
