Park Acoustics has changed many musicians’ view of the Jacaranda City.

All roads led to Voortrekker Monument for Pretoria’s biggest monthly music festival on Saturday.

The festival was the celebration of the Park Acoustics 9th birthday which saw hundreds of Pretorians coming in their numbers to attend the event.

In the line up to entertain the music lovers was The Barbosa Experience who opened the show followed by the godfather of alternative Afrikaans music, Anton Goosen together with Grassy Spark, Aking, Moeje versus Dr Khumalo and many more.

All the musicians kept the music lovers on their feet from the beginning to end.

Park Acoustics has changed many musicians’ view of the Jacaranda City.

Park Acoustics is not only about different genres and styles of music but has become a great platform for creativity, art, diversity and colour in the city.

Patron Alexander Zapryagaer said he really enjoyed himself and would not miss such an beautiful event.

He described the Park Acoustic 9th birthday festival as a good outing with family and friends.

Megan Casey said the music was lovely and everyone was having fun.

The music lovers also had the opportunity to browse the new Park Acoustics innovation, Deep Roots mini market, while enjoying the lovely festival on Sunday.

Park Acoustics was a successful due to a persistent team who have organised a string of successful and popular music events with great live acts, at an affordable price.

The Park Acoustics 9th birthday closed with a sunset comedy with Alfred Adriaan, Ntosh Madlingozi and Chik Aloy.
