North artist thrills fans with melodic voice

“My singing career started in church and my wish is to be a household name.”

Ga-Rankuwa vocalist, performing artist and songwriter has become a force to be reckoned with in the music industry.

Galaletsang Olebogeng Tladi, known to her fans as Ole, is a versatile musician with a distinctly strong and melodic voice that thrills audiences of all ages.

Ole has her eyes set on becoming South Africa’s next biggest musical sensation.

“My singing career started in church and my wish is to be a household name,” she said.

Ole puts a lot of soul to her performances and music, while her uniquely deep yet smooth voice sets her apart from a host of colleagues.

Her music can be heard on radio, television and dance floors nationwide.

Ole proudly told Rekord that her singles have hit numerous house music charts including Traxsource Top 100 Afro House and Soulful House charts as well as on Mzansi House Apple Music playlist.

“As a songwriter, I have contributed on Nastee Nev’s “0808 Sweetsoul”, Essential is “Precious Thing”, one of South Africa’s soapies Rhythm City and my own compositions as well as performing on a prime slot on Motsweding FM with Amon Mokoena,” she said.

Ole has shared the stage with some of South Africa’s A-list artists such as Musa, Shekinah, Dr Malinga, DJ Maphorisa, Mlindo the Vocalist, MaxHoba, Nelisiwe Sibiya, the late Robbie Malinga, to name a few.

She has hosted her own shows which include An Evening With Ole and will host her first ladies conference “The essence of women” on Saturday, 27 April at Thornbrook Golf Clubhouse in Akasia.

“I deliver dynamic and energetic performances which blend various sounds and moods ranging from soul, jazz and gospel to up tempo house music backed up by a fully live band which enhances my natural talent,” she said.

Ole said she does no auto-tuning or lip-syncing.

She has recently released a single called “Pula” made available via iTunes, Google Play, Spotify and other digital music stores.
