Local rapper unleashes debut album

Pretoria rapper Miz Brother is ready to hit the road to promote her debut EP titled The B.R.O.
The EP was released early this year, alongside label mate Mic Man.
Miz Bother said the first leg of her promotion tour would be Gauteng with tour dates expected to be announced on her social media page as well as her label AMPlis Records Productions.
The EP is reported to be a glimpse of Miz Brother’s thoughts and views, and features fresh new artists such as Mic Man, Ray Brian, Kudo – to name a few – and Y FM radio DJ Zai Maya.

It also features Auth3ntiC, who executive produced the EP.
Miz Brother was, however, not always interested in being a rapper.
Her first love was poetry – until she met Skrypta Knight, a rapper from her hometown of Mamelodi, who was impressed with her unique style of poetry.
“Skrypt convinced me to try rapping as a career and later introduced me to Wilfred Bafana Mothwa aka Auth3ntiC who ended up signing me to his label AMPlis Records Production,” she said.
She says her transition from poet to rapper has taken her to sharing the stage with the likes of Gigi Lamayne, Ms Cosmo, Dj Yanga, Towdeeac (Morafe) PRO, and CashTime.
The B.R.O. is “a fresh buzz to the ear during the now times in South African hip-hop”.
