Maze Runner: The death cure (16 HLV)

Showing at Nu Metro Menlyn Park, Woodlands and Parkview Centre.

In the epic finale to the Maze Runner-saga, Thomas leads his group of escaped Gladers on their final and most dangerous mission yet. To save their friends, they must break into the legendary Last City, a WCKD-controlled labyrinth that may turn out to be the deadliest maze of all. Anyone who makes it out alive will get answers to the questions the Gladers have been asking since they first arrived in the maze.

Maze Runner: The Death Cure will be showing in the multi-sensory 4DX theatre at Nu Metro Menlyn, taking this heart-racing adventure-thriller to new levels of cinematic experience. The elaborate movements of the 4DX motion chair have been optimised for the chase scenes, and are combined with 20 different 4DX environmental effects: air shots, wind, warm air and lots more.

Proud Mary (16 DLV)

Showing at Nu Metro Menlyn Park only

Taraji P Henson is Mary, a hit-woman working for an organised crime family in Boston. Her life is completely turned around when she meets a young boy whose path she crosses after a hit goes bad. Proud Mary is an alternative action thriller filled with retro-street style, featuring a strong female protagonist. If you enjoyed last year’s Atomic Blonde, then this is for you.

The Post (10-12PG L)

Showing in the all-luxury VIP cineplex at Nu Metro Parkview

This new Steven Spielberg-film, based on a true story, is a thrilling drama about the unlikely partnership between The Washington Post’s Katharine Graham (Meryl Streep), the first female publisher of a major American newspaper, and editor Ben Bradlee (Tom Hanks), as they race to catch up with The New York Times to expose a massive cover-up of government secrets that spanned three decades and four US presidents.

The two must overcome their differences as they risk their careers – and their very freedom – to help bring long-buried truths to light. An acclaimed cast, an iconic director and a gripping story with strong relevance to the current political landscape make The Post a must-see for everyone who wants a little bit more from their cinema outings.
