With about 133 live performances a year, three platinum and one gold selling albums and a long list of top 10 hits to his credit, Elvis Blue is one of the most successful artists in South Africa.

In 2010, Elvis was the winner of M-Net’s SA Idols, sharing half his winnings with runner-up Lloyd Cele.
Elvis’s first album was released shortly afterwards and boasts platinum sales status with sales in excess of 50 000 copies as well as a 2012 South African music award (SAMA) for best adult contemporary album.

The artist continues to gain acclaim both with audiences and critics as he is recognised for his performing and songwriting talents.
In 2013, Elvis won three more SAMA’s for his album Journey: male artist of the year, album of the year and song of the year (for Lifetime).

September 2013 saw the release of Afrikaans, an album that made Elvis the first Afrikaans artist to scale the top 10 of the iTunes store chart – an honour he managed on the first day of the album’s release.
This album was certified a gold-selling album a mere two months later.
Elvis also walked away with two Ghoemas for album of the year and male artist of the year.

Elvis was made CANSA ambassador and used his title to raise funds for the Casterbridge music academy in White River and Life community services in George.
His own initiative, called the cookie jar, lets people who attend his shows donate money directly to specific charities by simply dropping change in a cookie jar.
