COMPETITION: Win tickets to see Texas and Henry Ate in concert

You could stand a chance to see these fantastic bands live on stage.

The line-up for the South African leg of the Texas world tour just keeps getting better.

Celebrated SA band Henry Ate will now open for Texas who will be performing all their hits live in South Africa for the first time.

Texas – and now Henry Ate – will appear at Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens in Cape Town on Friday 8 December 2017 and Johannesburg’s Emmarentia Gardens on Sunday 10 December 2017.

This will be the first time that Henry Ate will perform as a full band since 2006. The band promises to deliver an unforgettable set featuring hit songs like Just, Hey Mister, Henry, Eudaimonia, One Day Soon, Life, And And And and more.

Celebrated pop chanteuse Karma-Ann Swanepoel achieved national success in late 1996, at the age of 21, with the release of her debut album Slap In The Face under the moniker of Henry Ate.

Karma and Henry Ate spent much of the late 1990s and 2000s releasing chart-topping albums, touring the world and performing alongside legends such as Skunk Anansie.

In 2010, Karma went into the studio with Grammy award-winning engineer Francis Buckley to record with several of LA’s top studio musicians. The resulting concept album, Edison Project, is a collection of some of Karma’s best work as a songwriter.

Now based in Portland, Oregon, UK, Karma is excited to be travelling back home this December to perform live to Cape Town and Johannesburg audiences when thousands turn out for Texas.

Tickets are on sale for R495 through Webtickets and selected Pick ‘n Pay stores.
