The movie is set to premiere in November.

Neither Reeva Steenkamp’s family or Oscar Pistorius’ family were consulted about the making of the movie Oscar Pistorius: Blade Runner Killer.

“We weren’t consulted,” she said. Steenkamp added that she would provide further comment after consulting with her lawyer.

Reeva was killed by Pistorius at his Pretoria East home on 14 February 2013.

Pistorius family spokesperson Johan van Wyk said the family could not comment as they had not seen the movie yet.

The movie’s trailer depicts parts of Pistorius and Steenkamp’s relationship, events leading up to her murder, her murder and Pistorius’ trial.

During his trial, Pistorius claimed that he shot at Steenkamp through a locked bathroom door because he mistook her for an intruder.

Pistorius is currently serving a six-year sentence at Kgosi Mampuru correctional centre.
