Hundreds walk for Jesus
"We have declared that Jesus is the answer to this community.”
Pretoria North Worship Centre conducted their 9th annual Jesus Walk on Saturday afternoon.
Around 300 happy churchgoers took part in the walk through the streets of Pretoria North.
Senior pastor Henry Wilson, who led the walk, said: “The aim of the Jesus Walk is to proclaim Jesus’ name and to pray for residents and businesses in the area.”
“We have declared that Jesus is the answer to this community. We love the community and we see ourselves as the lighthouse making a difference.”
Wilson said the walk was for the benefit of the entire community, not just church members.
Afterwards members gathered in the churchyard where they enjoyed a braai.
