Fun-filled evening at Garsfontein Spring concert
over 1500 people attended the music concert organised by a charity group
Residents of Garsfontein were treated to an evening of a musical performance organised by a charity organisation, Gars-hande, at a local school.
A musician Jay, performed to the amazement of young Laerskool Garsfontein pupils and family members on Thursday night.
Other musicans who performed at the Spring concert included local pupils.
The Gars-hande organisation said it was overwhelmed by the number of people who attended the event.
Event organiser Leentjie van Niekerk said: “We expected 1 200 people but residents attending the event have far exceeded our expectations.”
The charity group said it will use money raised from this event to benefit members of the community that are in need.
