The Legend of Tarzan brings the jungle to Nu Metro Woodlands and Menlyn Park in Pretoria, along with other cinemas nationwide. This spectacular new blockbuster is an action-packed, big screen-version of the popular story.
It has been years since the man once known as Tarzan left the jungles of Africa behind for a gentrified life as John Clayton III, Lord Greystoke – with his beloved wife, Jane, at his side. Now, he has been invited back to the Congo to serve as a trade emissary of parliament, unaware that he is a pawn in a deadly convergence of greed and revenge, masterminded by the Belgian, Captain Leon Rom. But those behind the murderous plot have no idea what they are about to unleash.
The Legend of Tarzan takes the story of the iconic hero to new heights, and stars acclaimed acting talent such as Alexander Skarsgård, Samuel L Jackson, Margot Robbie, Djimon Hounsou and Christoph Waltz. Tarzan’s onscreen adventures see him go above and beyond to save his former home, and is guaranteed to inspire goosebumps with astounding special effects and striking camerawork. It is filled with excitement, a few surprises, tons of action and adventure – to keep new and old fans glued to the screen.
The movie will be showing in 3D and 2D, as well as in the Scene Xtreme cinema at Nu Metro Menlyn Park.
