The much anticipated debut album by Chad Da Don will drop today (Saturday).
Chad Da Don will launch his album, The Book of Chad, at the hippy 012Central on Helen Joseph Street in central Pretoria on Saturday, which is also be his birthday.
Chad, was signed to Cassper Nyovest’s Family Tree and has gone independent to release his solo project after learning from the greatest lyricists and producers on the continent.
This ability has made him hungry to succeed in the industry, and not afraid of a challenge.
Chad hails from Pretoria, and was born Donovan Chad Mansoor.
He mastered every discipline he focused on from sport, even receiving national colours, to becoming the musician.
“I am honoured to have composed my single EFT with Brian Soko, a hip hop genius,” said Chad.
Soko is known for producing the JayZ and Beyoncé banger Drunk in Love as well as hip hop great, Cassper Nyovest’s song Phumakim.
The song is about the common man working a 9 to 5 waiting on his paycheck.
“The message is simple work hard and get paid, the universal hustle for us all,” he said.
The single was received with much fanfare making his debut album a must have this summer.
