Welcome the festive season with Carols by Candlelight

Christmas is around the corner, and what better way to celebrate the most joyful time of the year than with artists such as Lira, Elvis Blue, Loyiso Bala and Matthew Mole?

That is right, you can expect to see these artists at Jacaranda FM and SPAR’s Carols by Candlelight concert at SuperSport Park in Centurion on 1 December and at the Bidvest Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg on 2 December.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a toy to be given to an underprivileged child from any of the three charity organisations — Child Welfare Tshwane, Heartbeat and Hanna Charities.

“With our annual Carols by Candlelight event we hope to spread some festive cheer not only to our loyal listeners but to those less fortunate too. Last year, we were able to collect over 25 000 toys for children who would not have otherwise received a Christmas present. We hope to collect a lot more this year through our listeners’ generosity,” says Kevin Fine, Jacaranda FM general manager.

Both events will start at 19:00 but gates open at 16:00.
