FREAKY FRIDAY: Man proposes to his girlfriend with a wisdom tooth ring
Can you think of a freakier way of proposing?
A Canadian man proposed to his girlfriend in quite an unconventional way.
Both Lucas Unger and his now fiance Carlee Leifkes decided it would be more special to use Unger’s wisdom tooth in an engagement ring rather than a diamond.
To top things off, Unger got onto one knee and proposed to Leifkes at a Halloween party.
In an interview with ABC News, Leifkes said that diamonds are overrated.
“We’re a very non-traditional couple, and we like to have fun. The tooth symbolizes the weird, quirky, odd couple we are. Every tooth is different, and the tooth also shows what my husband’s willing to go through for me.”
Lucas Unger’s ring has the shape of a tooth engraved into platinum with the words, “Do you really want to hold my dirty hand,” lyrics from a song which played at a music festival when they first met.
The couple said they were planning to get married in Las Vegas on the 21st of November, with an Elvis Presley impersonator who will be making the wedding official.
