Radio Kalahari Orkes lights up the east

Radio Kalahari Orkes and Ian Roberts sizzles the Rafters crowd on Friday night with their timeless classics.

Radio Kalahari Orkes (RKO) lit up the stage in spectacular fashion on Friday night at Rafters Pub in the east of Pretoria where the legendary Ian Roberts, the band’s lead singer, serenaded and rocked the audience in an unforgettable fashion.

Families came in numbers to watch the charismatic band’s electrifying performance.

Roberts said he was looking forward to performing at the Rafters Pub as the turnout was incredible.

“It is always nice to perform to a large audience” he said.

Families danced and enjoyed a relaxed evening out to the thrilling sounds of the band.

Rafters was on fire on Friday night.

RKO is set to move cross country to perform.

Set performance dates are:

4 November: Die Pint, Bethlehem.

5 November: Beaufort West.

6 November: Stellenbosch at De Zalse (wine farm).

8 November: Alma Café in Rosebank (Cape Town).
