Leriba shares Pretoria diversity
Leriba Hotel and Spa took guests on a memorable cultural experience through the streets of Pretoria on Friday afternoon.

Leriba Hotel and Spa and Ulysses Tours and Safaris joined forces last week to give local events and tourism companies a unique experience of Pretoria, showing off its diversity.
A select group of guests were invited to sample township life on Friday at Gino’s shebeen in Atteridgeville.
Then they went for an Afrikaner experience at The Western Barrel Bar in Pretoria West before completing the final leg of the tour at Chapters Restaurant back at the hotel for dinner.
Guests got to enjoy the afternoon sun, as close to topless as they could, in a topless bus laid on by Ulysses.
Smiles, laughs and dancing to top country tunes, perhaps aided by lovely wine by the exquisite Hemingway’s Restaurant and Wine Cellar added to the experience.
Leriba owner Peet du Preez was so pleased with the outcome that he added a bonus, a night stay-over at the hotel for each of his guests.
The companies represented on the guest list were Kikuyu Africa, Conferencing, Joburg Conferences, Venues Online, Siyakula Events, Sasol, e-Conference Events & Promotions, The Hedgehog Event Company, Beyond Red Events, Contemporary Events, Zoetis Animal Health, The Maximilian Group, Events & All, 100% Event and the Carlamani Conferences & Events.
Madima Qunta, a guest from Beyond Red Events, said “What a great experience, thank you so much [Leriba Hotel] for your great hospitality, we will definitely be back.”
Margaret Combrinck, from Kikyhyaafrica.com, said “I do not know how to thank you for a wonderful, wonderful afternoon, evening and stay over. The food, service, entertainment, the bus trip and all the stops on the way were so memorable. I loved every minute.”
Carla de Jager from Carlamani Conferences and Events said: “Thank you so much for inviting us. It was such fun and we had the best host in Gauteng. Thank you for all the hospitality, it was really wonderful and sincerely appreciated.”
Leriba Hotel and Spa is a recipient of numerous awards including Best Luxury Hotel in SA at the Accommodation Awards in 2011, and overall best restaurant in SA at the Restaurant Awards of SA, 2011.
It was nominated for the Top 10 Gauteng conference venues by Business Traveller.
