Big House Craft Beer Festival 2015

Venue: Jan Smuts House Museum

Dates: 19/09/2015

Time: 10:00

Are you ready for the best craft beer festival this side of the Karoo? Join us for a day of amazing music, beautiful beer and vibes that will set alight the start of summer!

Big House Craft Beer Fest is a craft beer fest, established in November of 2013. The beer fest was started as a fund raising initiative for the Jan Smuts House in Irene, Centurion. The Smuts House museum is a non-profit institution that does not receive any government subsidy. The Smuts House is thus reliant on restaurant turnover, donations and fund raising events like the Big House Craft Beer fest. In 2014 the Big House Craft Beer fest staked a claim in the craft beer community; Hosting the legendary and world renowned Mango Groove as the entertainment for the day.

The Big House Craft Beer Fest aims to create an unique experience for the festival attendee. Our event is capped at 3500 tickets and 10 craft beer brewers. This is a lot more intimate than competing beer festivals in South Africa. We feel that it creates a sense of community; where people can actually connect and converse with one another and celebrate great quality beer.

R 100 – R 120 per person.
