Are you excited that spring has finally arrived? We sure are!
Usually Pretoria winters aren’t that bad compared to winter in other countries. But one does get fed up of the cold weather and bare trees after a while, and everyone is like:
BUT, today is the first day of spring, and you can already see blossoms and green trees emerging in every corner of Pretoria!

Spring in Pretoria feels like sunshine creeping through your bedroom window, BEFORE you wake up.
Everyone comes out of their caves and parks around Pretoria are filled with happy people.
People around the capital city are just happier in general when it’s spring.
And EVERYONE just wants to go outside and enjoy that classic spring smell.
Spring in Pretoria is just awesome, like MJ.
You know it’s spring when Pretorians get all excited because it’s almost time for jacaranda trees to bloom.
And when Facebook gets filled with posts about the first spring rain.
Of course it’s baby animal season as well.
