We are Africa concert held in Mams
2015 Moretele Park Tribute concert.
All roads led to Moretele Park on Saturday, leaving behind streets devoid of life from noon to the following morning.
Young and old flocked to this year’s Moretele Park Tribute Concert themed “We Are Africa”.
The concert celebrated South Africans for standing against xenophobia experienced earlier this year.
It featured the who is who of African music, including Caiphus Semenya, Bhudaza, Sankomota, Oliver Mtukudzi, Kanda Bongo Man, Thandiswa Mazwai, Bongo Maffin, Mango Groove and Bra Vusi ‘The Voice’ Mahlasela, The Soil, Afrotraction and Black Motion.
