Country Western at the Barnyard

Country Western musical icons all gathered at the Barnyard Theatre.

An amazing cowboys for kids country show was presented in the Barnyard Theatre on Saturday evening.

Country music lovers came from all over to watch their favourite  singers gathered under one roof. This was rare occasion, said event organiser Christo Louw.

The aim of the show was to raise money for the Jakaranda children’s home in Pretoria.

The home takes care of 250 children between three and 18 years old.

Country legends donating their time and talent included Billy Forest, Clive Bruce, Jody Wayne, Tommy Oliver, Dennis East and Caroline Du Preez.

Fans of all ages enjoyed every moment and every song, including, Tiny Bubbles, Hello Operator, Million Drums, Patches, and One Last Kiss.

Leather jackets, boots and cowboy hats were all over to see, reinforcing the country atmosphere in the theatre.
