Mr. Burger to marry miss King, Burger King sponsors wedding
Burger King will pay for a very special union.
Joel Burger and Ashley King will have their wedding sponsored by the popular fast food giant Burger King.
The pair met at school and were close friends throughout their school and university years, although Burger only asked King out in their first year at university.
A few years later, they announced their engagement by taking a photo in front of a Burger King sign. The picture made it onto the local newspaper in New Berlin, Illinois, The State Journal Register’s front page. The article also caught Burger King’s eye and they posted on their social media platforms that they were trying to get in contact with the couple.
Burger King has since managed to get hold of the happy couple and will be footing the bill for their July nuptials.
