How to dye eggs for Easter

Keep the kids entertained with this easy craft.

Easter is perfect to spend time with your family, but keeping the children entertained after an Easter egg hunt can be tricky.

Dye some eggs to enjoy later.

What you’ll need:

– Food colouring in colours you like

– A plate

– Hard boiled eggs with their shells on

– Water

– A sponge

– An old newspaper

Get started

– Drip some food colouring on the plate and add a bit of water to dilute the colours to pastel shades.

– Take the sponge and lightly wet it.

– Dab the sponge in the food colouring.

– Wipe the sponge across the surface of the egg shell until the entire egg is covered with colour.

– Let the eggs dry on old newspaper.

– When dry, enjoy!
